Kadir Yağız Çetin is a civic technologist and the Founder & CEO of CDR, an independent technology and research organization focused on governance, based in Türkiye and the U.S. Working at the intersection of technology and governance, he leads CDR’s work on policy-focused digital tools, applied research, AI capacity-building for civil society organizations, and youth capacity-building programs designed to make public policy more accessible, participatory, and evidence-driven.
Under his leadership, CDR has built a growing portfolio that includes Policyful, an AI-powered policy intelligence platform; Referandom, a “Tinder for Parliament” for civic participation; RENEWIntel, which tracks EU policy affecting renewable energy and critical materials; , which helps NGOs adopt AI responsibly; and , a governance literacy program for university students.
